UNCLE STORAGE WARRANTY POLICY

LIMITED WARRANTY

Uncle Storage warrants that its storage systems are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal indoor residential and commercial use, subject to the terms, conditions, load limits, and safe-use requirements outlined in this warranty document and accompanying load rating documentation.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

10-YEAR STRUCTURAL WARRANTY

The following structural components are covered for a period of ten (10) years from the original date of purchase:

  • - Structural frame assemblies
  • - Cabinet structural shells
  • - Hanging rail structures
  • - Welded steel components
  • - Structural mounting components

This warranty applies only to structural failure resulting from defects in materials or workmanship when the system:

  • - Is correctly installed on flat, firm, and level ground
  • - Is used within published engineered load ratings
  • - Is operated in accordance with all safe-use instructions
  • - Has not been modified or structurally altered

3-YEAR MOVING COMPONENT WARRANTY

The following moving components are covered for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase:

  • - Roller assemblies
  • - Bearings
  • - Sliding mechanisms
  • - Drawer runners
  • - Soft-close hardware
  • - Hinges
  • - Handles

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship occurring during normal use and operation.

1-YEAR ELECTRICAL WARRANTY

Electrical components supplied by Uncle Storage are covered for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, including:

  • - LED lighting
  • - Switches
  • - Power supplies
  • - Internal electrical wiring supplied with the system

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

ENGINEERED LOAD RATINGS & SAFE USE CONDITIONS

The storage system must only be used within the following engineered load limits:

  • - Max. Load per Shelf: 50 kg (Uniformly Distributed)
  • - Max. Load per Cabinet (up to 6 shelves): 228 kg total
  • - Max. Load per Frame (up to 6 cabinets): 2,121 kg total

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • - Loads must be evenly distributed across shelf surfaces.
  • - Point loading is prohibited.
  • - Items must not be dropped onto shelves.
  • - Shock loading, impact loading, or sudden force must be avoided.
  • - The system must only be used for the storage of goods.
  • - Maximum configuration limits of 6 shelves per cabinet and 6 cabinets per frame must not be exceeded.
  • - Structural arrangements must not be altered or modified.

WARNING: OVERLOADING OR MISUSE MAY CAUSE STRUCTURAL FAILURE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY, OR DEATH.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

To maintain warranty coverage, the owner must:

  • - Conduct regular inspections by a competent person
  • - Immediately remove damaged systems from service
  • Inspect for:
  • - Distortion
  • - Corrosion
  • - Loose components
  • - Misalignment
  • - Damage to moving components

The system must not be used if damaged or unsafe conditions are observed.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  • - Cosmetic wear and tear
  • - Scratches, dents, chips, or finish deterioration
  • - Damage caused by overloading or uneven loading
  • - Point loading or shock loading
  • - Misuse, abuse, impact, or accidents
  • - Incorrect installation
  • - Outdoor use or exposure to corrosive environments
  • - Water, salt, chemical, rust or moisture damage
  • - Unauthorised modifications, welding, drilling, or repairs
  • - Failure to follow load ratings or safety instructions
  • - Labour costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or servicing unless approved in writing

Any use outside the published engineered specifications automatically voids this warranty.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • - Proof of purchase
  • - Photographs of the issue
  • - Product details
  • - Installation details
  • - Description of use conditions

Uncle Storage reserves the right to inspect the product and determine whether the failure falls within warranty coverage.

REMEDIES

If a warranty claim is approved, Uncle Storage may, at its discretion:

  • - Repair the product
  • - Replace defective components
  • - Supply replacement parts
  • - Replace the product with an equivalent product

Liability is limited to the original purchase price of the affected product.
